Speech and Language Therapy

Assessment and therapy sessions are offered predominantly for children between the ages of 18 months – 12 years however, intervention above this age will be considered depending on the area of need. 
Children may be referred by parents or professionals for one or more of the following:

  • Language delay – understanding & expressive language
  • Language disorders  - including Auditory Processing Difficulties (APD)  
  • Speech sound delay/disorder including developmental verbal Dyspraxia and poor articulation,
  • Attention and listening difficulties
  • Play and social interaction / Semantic Pragmatic Disorders
  • Global Developmental Delay
  • A diagnosis of Down’s Syndrome
